Oliver 66496 300mm Pull On Structural Firefighter Boot

The Oliver 66496 300mm Pull On Structural Firefighter Boot is a tough, high-performance safety boot designed for firefighting, emergency services and demanding frontline work. Built for Australian conditions, this boot offers a strong combination of heat resistance, water resistance, impact protection, grip and all-day comfort, making it a dependable option for workers who need serious protection in high-pressure environments.

Designed as part of Oliver Footwear’s firefighting and emergency services range, the Oliver 66496 is made to support the needs of frontline personnel, emergency response teams, structural firefighters and industrial workers operating in harsh conditions. Whether used in emergency callouts, rescue operations, industrial fire response, wet environments or high surface heat areas, this boot is built to perform when safety and durability matter most.

The 300mm pull on design provides extended lower leg coverage while allowing easy wear without traditional laces. This makes it practical for emergency services personnel who need to get their gear on quickly and confidently. The pull-on style is ideal for fast response situations, while the higher boot height helps provide extra coverage and protection around the lower leg.

The boot is made with water resistant and flame retardant leather, helping protect the foot in wet, hot and demanding conditions. This durable leather construction is designed to withstand tough working environments while maintaining comfort across long shifts. The boot also includes TECtuff® toe bumper protection, which helps protect the leather at the toe area from scuffing and abrasion. This is especially useful for firefighters and emergency workers who may be climbing, kneeling, dragging equipment or moving across rough ground.

Oliver 66496 300mm Pull On Structural Firefighter Boot features a Heavy Duty Nitrile Rubber Soling System with an integrated comfort layer of urethane cushioning. This hard-wearing nitrile rubber outsole provides a strong balance of durability, grip, comfort and flexibility. It is designed to handle demanding conditions while still supporting movement, making the boot suitable for workers who need protection without sacrificing comfort.

For underfoot comfort, the COMFORTcushion® Impact Absorption system provides superior cushioning and shock absorption to help reduce foot, leg and back fatigue. This is particularly important for frontline workers who spend long periods standing, walking, running, climbing or carrying equipment. The built-in cushioning helps reduce strain during long shifts and supports better comfort throughout the day.

The COOLstep® Lining helps absorb moisture and odour, keeping feet fresh, dry and hygienic during extended wear. This is a valuable feature in physically demanding roles where heat, sweat and long hours can affect foot comfort. By helping manage moisture inside the boot, the lining supports better hygiene and all-day wearability.

The Oliver 66496 also includes a NATUREform Type 1 Toe Cap, designed with a wide profile to suit the natural shape of the foot. It includes a latex cushion liner for added comfort and helps prevent toes from coming into direct contact with the cap. The toe cap is tested to 200 joules in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 2210.3, providing reliable protection against impact and compression hazards. The boot also features a Composite Safety Toe Cap, offering lightweight, non-metallic protection against drop and crush injuries. This toe cap is airport friendly and developed to withstand a force of 200 joules.

The HEELguard provides added stability and impact protection around the heel area. This helps support the foot when moving across rough, slippery or uneven ground. For emergency services and industrial workers, this added heel stability can help improve confidence and safety during demanding movement on site.

Visibility is supported by Hi-Vis Reflective Safety Trim, which is designed to improve visibility in difficult light conditions. This is especially useful for night operations, road incidents, emergency response work, low-light industrial sites and areas where workers need to be seen quickly. It also complements standard hi-vis workwear commonly used across Australian worksites.

The boot includes Sole Penetration Protection, helping reduce the risk of sharp objects entering through the sole and into the foot. This is an important feature when working around broken glass, metal debris, nails, sharp rubble or damaged building materials.

The outsole is made for harsh conditions. It is heat resistant up to 300°C, making it suitable for high surface heat environments. It also offers excellent cut resistance, helping prevent small cuts from expanding as the sole flexes during walking. The abrasion resistant sole is designed to withstand ongoing wear across rough ground, helping extend the life of the boot.

For grip, the Slip Resistant Sole provides excellent traction and exceeds European Standard EN344 and SATRA slip test method PM144. This helps reduce the risk of slipping on wet, oily, dusty or uneven surfaces, which is essential for emergency services and industrial environments.

The boot also includes Electrical Hazard protection, helping reduce the danger of accidental contact with live electrical circuits in accordance with ASTM F2413-1. The sole is resistant to organic oils and fats, as well as most mineral oils, acids and alkaline substances, making it suitable for general industrial and emergency service conditions.

Overall, the Oliver 66496 300mm Pull On Structural Firefighter Boot is a strong, reliable and protective boot designed for Australian firefighters, emergency services personnel and industrial workers. With flame retardant leather, water resistance, composite toe protection, heat resistance, sole penetration protection, reflective trim and shock-absorbing comfort, it is built to support workers in tough and unpredictable conditions.
